Barge is located on Frank’s
Tract in the heart of the
Delta. It is a great
location for fishermen
and boating enthusiasts
alike! Want to get
out on the water and don’t
have your own boat? No
problem! Relax and have
fun on one of our rental
boats.
Must
be at least 21 years old,
have a valid driver’s
license and a valid credit
card to rent a boat. Release
and Acknowledgement of
Risk form must be signed
by all operators and passengers
of boat. We reserve
the right to refuse rental
of equipment to anyone.
Payment is due
at the time of reservation.
This is refundable only
if the Marina is notified
of cancellation 14 days prior
to the rental date. There
are no refunds for cancellations
less than 14 days prior
to the rental date. Kayaks and Pedal Boats
do not require a reservation—first
come, first serve.
Late
Return Fee is
$35.00 per hour or
any fraction thereof
for Aluminum Boats,
Kayaks and Pedals
Boats. Late return
fee is $100.00 per
hour or any fraction
thereof for Patio
Boats and Waverunners.
Rental Procedure can
take up to 20 minutes at
check-out and check-in.
Complete and sign all paperwork,
complete an orientation
of the delta and boat off-limits
area, review the safe operation
of the boat, inspect equipment
and condition of the boat.
Security
/ Damage Deposit-
Patio
Boat-$1000.00. Waverunner-$750.00. On
Kayaks, Pedal Boats and
Aluminum Boats, a credit
card authorization form
in lieu of deposit, is
to be completed that gives
Sugar Barge RV Resort & Marina
the authorization to charge
credit card for any damages,
missing or broken articles
to any Sugar Barge rental
equipment or property.
Damage to equipment or
improper use of watercraft
becomes the full responsibility
of the renter, even if
they are not the operator
at the time the damage
occurs. Funds
deposited are credited upon the problem free return
of vessel/trailer. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American
Express, Discover or Cash.
Service Calls are
the responsibility of the
renter if they are due
to operator error. For
example: safety lanyard
not attached, tank not
vented, over choking, etc. The
marina must be notified
within an hour of any service
problem. Be sure you understand
how to start, trim, run,
dock and tie up the boat
BEFORE you leave the Marina.
